open (poem)

open

your narrowed eyes

twinkle laughter

see afresh

open

  notions cowering and cemented

twirl them

on the dance floor of your mind

they, too, yearn to move.

open

your jaded palate

savor

life’s rainbowed flavors

open

arms stuck to your stiffened sides

breathful

bend them

 hug much

open

your soul’s clenched hands

 fill with grace

open

your shuttered heart

let her sing

and sing

I want to wrap myself in your perfectly chosen words and repeat them daily…Laughing, twirling, savoring, singing — embracing life with all that I am (and all I hope to be) each and every day! YOU are amazing! xoxo

Your support is so heartwarming–and inspiring. I’m really grateful to you. You and the life you’ve created seem to epitomize all of that openness and verve I wrote about. Cheers to you! Xoxo

WOW! Yes, the first comment is very right, YOU are amazing 🙂 Merci encore pour nous faire partager à la fois la passion de la dance et l’amour de la poésie avec une talent aussi fort qu’élégant ! Amitiés, Frédéric

Frederic, Je suis muette…except to say I am deeply grateful to you. Your support here has been astounding, and so heartwarming and inspiring. I am printing out your comment, to keep it by me as I write. Thank you for your lustrous gift. xxo
