write yourself (poem)

Right your self

light

your candle

spark

adventure

alluring

illumine memory

past

and paradoxically

remembered shape

of things not yet

come.

Sometimes

how?

the only solace companioning

is aloneness

here with the pen

the flame

the silence echoing inside

the soft breathing of dreamers dreaming

to incandesce yourself

to frame

reach

how to see

how to  be

in this world

  1. Uzoma says:

You write with so much wisdom and tenderness and this is nothing short of inspirational, Sirena.

  2. luggagelady says:

Ah, the artist’s magical ability to sit entirely alone and truly listen to the voice inside her soul. What others may find unsettling, is our divine creative space… Thank you for this blissful reminder!

Feedback=magic. What's yours?
