leap of faith (poem)

tho the dream

still vaporous

still ethereal

may seem too fragile

to buoy you,

its golden filaments

weave glorious

your valiant galleon.

Go with

hands tremulous

too often slapped

too long clutching empty

paw of futility.

Did you not realize

small but scheming chimeras starve

the hungering soul

soaring vision’s wings?

Go swiftly

you intrepid

your hero purpose

shining jewel-like

beaming surely before you

tho others may lull

may pull

It’s a feast abounding

that awaits you…

…Go now

What a beautifully tantalizing vision you paint: staying one step ahead — and out of the greedy dream-leaching clutches of naysayers (even if these only exist in my own head!) I aspire toward the soul-reviving feast! Thank YOU!! 😘

Magnifique poème, plein d’énergie et d’élan – leap of faith, I love it! Merci 🙂
