when the dancing stops

when the dancing stops

the light in your deep room dims

can’t pedal enough

when the dancing stops

your deep room dims, shrinking

can’t ignite the light

when the dancing stops

you, not treading hard enough

no anchor buoy sinking

when the dancing stops

the cold chasm is too wide

vast thirst undrinking

when the dancing

The grief is very intense. I hope you are not feeling that right now. Hugs, Chia

Dear Chia, I so appreciate your warmth and big heart. Hugs most welcome, and reciprocated. Hope this piece didn’t bring you down–I hesitated posting it, but decided to go with it, especially after recalling discussions with fellow dancers about how we feel when we are nit dancing….Things better today. Have a lovely weekend, my faraway friend. Xo

  3. Sending you rays of light and uplifting energy, ST xoxo
